Depn recapture on gift property.

    Depn recapture on gift property.

    If owners of res rental gift it to relative or non-relative, how is depn recapture accounted for?

      To the best of my knowledge, all grantor attributes carry to the grantee. I also believe that if a sale by the grantee happens within two years all gain goes to the grantor.
