    The Terror of Enlightenment

I just read this; I understand what it means; that scares me.

'Notice 2008-35 supersedes Notice 2006-27 by substantially republishing the guidance
contained in that publication while clarifying the meaning of the terms equivalent rating network and eligible contractor. This notice also clarifies the process for removing software from the list of approved software and provides for the extension of the tax credit through December 31, 2008.'

    You're telling your age

That is when you know you've been around awhile *L*

I'll only admit to understanding maybe 3/4 of it *grin*

            Pease permit me to explain.

I read the IRS item, for work. As you've noticed, it's written in, well, er, IRSese jargon: note the use of the word 'clarify' THREE times. Anyway, I understood, automatically, what the statement said - and as soon as I realised that I understood it, I got scared - because I understood. I.e., it's gobbledygook, only it really isn't but it sure sounds like it and I understood it so what does that make me? As was correctly pointed out, it makes me OLD. The replies were wonderful and sharp!!
