    Rebates for extensions

    In order to receive the rebate you must file a tax return, but it does it have to be filed on/before 4/15/08? If a person files an extension they should still get the rebate after they file or not?

    What I read from an IRS alert is that rebates will be issued until the end of the year to cover those who file an extension...
