    Quickbooks Navigator

Anyone know how to get rid of the Navigator screen (which I find a nusience(sp)) in my newly installed Quickbooks 2006 Accountants Premier edition. Older versions had a box to check in the EDIT / PREFERENCES / VIEW screen, but in 2006, I don't see this box. Thanks.

    I think this is it:

    Open the desktop view preferences.
(Go to the Edit menu and click Preferences.

In the Preferences window, click Desktop View in the list on the left.)

    Click the My Preferences tab.

In the Desktop area, select or clear the "Show Home page when opening a company file" checkbox, as appropriate.

      It worked!

Thanks so much! Apparently Quickbooks decided to change the name from Navigator to Home Page. Thank God for Geek Girls! Have a great tax season.
