              just used it

My client's income is $76,900. I used the worksheet and figured out that by putting $2,000 into a Traditonal IRA he gets the full rebate rather than $500. Cool!

When you run the latest WebCD update, you will notice that the WebCD version of the worksheet does the same thing.

                      Thanx

Thank you very much, Brad. Just ran one from the WebCD for a client coming to pick up her return this afternoon. Her rebate is a negative amount. The .pdf won't let me alter that field to $0. Am I misunderstanding that the rebate cannot be less than zero?

From memory, at top Tools, then Fill-In Sheets, then something about Stimulus Payments...

I'm assuming you are talking about line 21. If it is less than zero, it means the AGI phase-out by 5% of the amount that exceeds the limits is complete and the taxpayer does not get a rebate.

You are correct. The rebate cannot be less than zero.

I fixed the line 21 field so that you can override it and enter zero when it is less than zero and posted it on the web so that everyone can now use it. The link from my first post should now take you to the fill-in-print version.

The fill-in-print version can also be saved for each client using Adobe Acrobat.
