    Informing IRS Partnership is closed

    Does anyone know if there is a form to inform IRS that a Partnership has been closed? Actually is was disolved becasue 2 of the 3 partners left, so the remaining partner is just going to continue the business as a sole proprietorship. Thanks

      No special form. Just check the "final return" box on page 1 of the 1065.
