    Deceased taxpayer--rebate eligible?

Does the surviving widow/widower still get decedent's (death in 2007) $300/whatever in addition to his/hers? It seems like they would/should. Anybody know for sure?

I'm curious about this too; just had new client come in and she brought deceased Mom's stuff as well. Mom died Jan 1 2008. was single. Will her daughter get her rebate?

Nothing in the law says the taxpayer has to be alive to qualify for the advance refund.

Why not? Many of them will be voting in the Presidential election, no?

          Qualified to vote

They are qualified to vote in the presidential election because they already voted in the primaries.
