    Electronic filing

I read the IRS response and RIA quote "maybe if you have been doing it you can continue"??? 8435 for an attachment - probably, but the attachment has to be set up with the same columns as the D or D-1. In some cases that means put it on the D if you are inputting anyway... IRS have a lot of new auditors and President increased their budget to go find money. GAO said for every dollar spent in auditing it returns $4. The content of my returns will not change, but I do not want to have to respond to IRS notices, because it is highlighted by them because of the maner it was submitted.

E-filing problem with Sch. D attachment

I was going to e-file tax return and separately mail Form 8453 with Sch. D attachment. But, my software (UltraTax) says that Return does not qualify for PIN since paper document is indicated for Sch. D attachment. Then, I don't understand its difference with paper filing the complete tax return. If I cannot e-file, client's refund will take longer period and the package will be too bulky. Does anyone has a solution to e-file?
