Has anyone have offers in compromise pending? Does the increase standard allowances for living and travel apply to the pending offers in compromise. I was told by IRs that a new offer would have to be submitted. Seems to me it is just run around to not accept an offer.

I don't currently have an offer in process. However, we just had one finalized that was in process for over 2 years. I encourage you to keep the communication lines open and stress with the IRS that your client is not able to live on the old allowances. TP must continue to make any monthly payments during this time to the IRS or the offer is void.
