    Commercial Rental non resident Idaho

What is taxed on commercial rental property for a non resident of Idaho?? Gross revenue or net?? The Tax Book, states that "a non resident is taxed on gross income before expenses" Normally you would pay tax on the net income?? Thanks, Chuck

    Idaho nonresident

The information on TTB page 17-7 for Idaho is referring to filing requirements. An Idaho nonresident must file a return if gross income from Idaho sources is greater than $2,500.

For purposes of figuring taxable income, you are correct, it will be based on net income from the rental property. For the most part, Idaho follows federal rules. However, Idaho does not allow federal bonus depreciation.

      Where does it say that?

You are miss-quoting what it really says. Read it again.
