    Direct Deposit Calendar

Can anyone provide with a link to the IRS Direct Deposit Calendar.
i.e. ACK by 00/00/00 direct deposit refund 00/00/00.

I used to have one provided with my software. Due to the AMT scare,
maybe they backed out of providing one.

Is the IRS depositing on Tuesdays and Fridays this year? I had someone call to inform me he received the Federal refund yesterday that was actually on the cycle for Friday.

        Thanks

Thanks Gene for the timely response.

Jesse, from the calendar, it looks like Fridays only. Apparently, the cycle ends on the previous Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M.

        Appreciate all who post.

          I bet

that it can be found on the Web CD too. I took longer to find it on the IRS website than did Gene but I looked too.

There can be deposits any day of the week now if the return is processed under the new IRS CADE system, which has about a 3-4 day turnaround. Normal processing is all returns accepted by the 11:00am "drain" on Thursdays has the direct deposit items due out the next Friday. This week the Friday items started arriving about 4:00pm on Wednesday.

Is this a new system for all efiling or does it depend on your service provider?

From what I can see, it appears to be "hit or miss". I had two filers, both employed at the same place and both in the same filing cycle. One of them got their check on a Monday and the other one was on the scheduled Friday.

Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

The Friday schedule is for Direct Deposit>> Monday is for Checks but a week later.

                    hmmm, rhymes with "Hades'.. anywy.

Since you're in Arkansas, I take it you returns are processed in Austin, right? And these quick
ones, were they not either 1040ez or 1040a?

Inquiring minds want to know, since all my Alabama resident returns are filed with Austin. I've
started just this year actually choosing 1040a or ez instead of defaulting always to 1040 form,
just in case Austin is on "the fast train."

FLASH! This just in. Client just called, since I'd asked her to let me know when her refund
arrived in bank. today, and her 1040 was filed just last Friday evening (at Austin of course).

Note, not a 1040a or ez, but 1040 form! I am ecstatic; I am elated.

                      Harlan,

I only do the 1040. I have to enter the same info either way, so I just have it done so that I am always looking at the same form and don't confuse myself with line numbers, etc. At least I'm sticking to the story about the reason for my confusion.:-)
