    AMT Patch-1040A, Schedule 2

    The AMT Patch will affect this form and will be delayed. If we force it to print on a 1040 instead, would it not be delayed?

      From what I've read - no. 1040 with 2441 seems to be ok

          Excellent. I suppressed 1040A and 1040EZ.

              As of today form 2441 has not been released by the IRS.

                      And it's a new improved 2441

                      You're filling out your 1040, line by line. You get to line 47 (Child Care Credit) and switch to the 2441. You go merrily on your way and get to line 11. It asks for the value on line 51 of the 1040. But of course you're not there yet.

                      See how much easier it is now that they rearranged the order of the credits on the 1040!
