We have claimed my son as a dependent on our taxes(2006).
He had claimed himself as well on his taxes.
We have been given a letter stating either we or my son needs to change this on the enclosed 1040x form. He will change his 1040x to reflect that he will not claim himself as a dependent - but when filling out the form we are not sure if only Pg2. Part1 & 2 needs to be filled out - or do we need to fill out all lines on pg. 1 and recalculate. Thank you for your time.
