    Tax Strategy Patents

    Well, here we go folks.

    "Tax professionals around the country are receiving warning notices that their tax- planning strategies could be infringing on patented inventions and methods, Mark Peterson, vice president of Congressional and Political Affairs for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), told CCH on November 19."

    Has anyone patented how they perform their interviews during tax time? Checklists? Whether or not your office offers clients coffee, candy, etc?

    But I have thought about copyrighting my eye roll and audible sigh when a client arrives for their appointment without half their information.
