    Examples of Senior Debt and Junior Debt

    We are a nonprofit real estate developer. We are applying for the development loan. The Bank wants to know which debt is senior and which debt is junior.

    Would you please give me some examples?

    Senior debt vs junior debt is akin to a first mortgage and a second mortgage. Senior debt gets priority.
