    first 1041 & easy?

i have a decendant with house only, estate sold it for 100k, used that as stepped up basis.
1.Does the settlement charges of 11k make it a capital loss to beneficiaries?
    2. mort. interest, prop. taxes, repairs, insurance, estate atty & utilities fall under deductions lines 10-15a on 1041?
3.about $3135. total to distribute from sale of house, is the distribution supposed to show up on k-1's?
    Thanks folks.

    1041

I wam assuming that after the owner's death the house was not used by family members.
    I assume it sat empty.
If this is accurate then items 1 and 2 are correct in my opinion.

As for item 3, the 1041 will show no income so there are no taxable distributions to report on K-1 forms.
