    Note of appreciation

This board is very much appreciated. Thank you, and thank you to all the participants. I like the access to Friendly Knowledge. I just finished a return that caused me great anxiety. I charged a shocking amount for the return. The client was shocked and I was sure it was worth every penny.

    I second your post

Yes JG, a big note of appreciation! Over the time that this board has been up and running, we have all received some great information and replies. I personally don't know what I would have done without this "lifeline".

Seems like no matter what we know, no matter how much we research and read, we need the interaction and always another viewpoint.

      Sole practitioner

As a sole practitioner who has no one in the office to tap on the shoulder for a second look, this board is invaluable. Thanks to everyone.

And, to all the above comments, a very LOUD Amen!

From another sole practitioner, I am so grateful for all the help and answers I get from everyone else.

Sometimes we might know an answer but just need affirmation that we are right. When we are by ourselves in an office, this board truly is a "lifeline".

            Thanks to all of you.

              Family

In many ways we have become comrades. If I were to meet some of you on the street I would feel I know you. I have been helped many times -- and have helped others many times. Sometimes I have given bad advice but fortunately, there are enough of you to speak up such that the query is not misled.

Some disenchanted posters have called us a "good ole boys club" but nothing can be further from the truth. Many of us appear more than others, but I perceive a welcomed electronic handshake to any who wish to bring their questions and comments and behave themselves just a little.

There are some of you whom I consider as elite in the tax practice as it gets. But no matter how much you know, there are always situations no one has ever encountered before that bring a multitude of perspectives when these situations are shared.

Again, much appreciation to the TTB sponsors of the board.

I am very grateful for all the posts that have taught me something everytime I surf. And like C Frog I feel like it's a good friendship among many. I just can't say thank you as well as the Frog can. But I appreciate all of you.

A few moments ago I started to post a question here and the site was down for a brief time. I was one of the good ol' girls on the original ATXer board. Fear went through me for just a second. This TTB board is important to me and I don't want to even think how I would feel without this message board.
                Bless you all.

                    A great big third!

The one thing I miss the most working alone is tossing ideas and questions with office co-workers. For me, this is the hardest part of a one-person office.

I consider all of you on the board my "co-workers".

                          TTB Board

Besides all the invaluable info so freely giving, what other site will the authors come in on a rather tuff question and and obviously take a lot of time and thought to point us in the right direction, and clarify the problem.

i second all the seconds and thirds

tax boards are more pleasant and productive when the posters, and especially the responders, act with altruistic, good-natured, goodwill. there is a lot of that here. thanks to all.

Just back from NSTP conference, Chicago. (Didn't stay for IRS forum, only for Beanna's presentation on LLC's. Great, great conference and presentations.

Thank you, all of you, who jump in and rescue me or confirm or tell me outright: You are stupid. Well, last thing I do myself when caught in something stupid I thought or said.
