    Cafateria plan

Have small s-corp setting up a cafateria plan. Insurance will probably be the only issue with this plan. Deductions made by employees of s-corp will be deducted from both
Taxable, Social Security & Medicare wages and taxes paid on the balance. Correct?

Does anyone know it this can be set up in Qbooks?

Any other concerns relating to Cafateria plans?

    Not for

    >2% shareholders. They are treated the same as partners for a flexible spending plan.

    Is this an Aflac plan?

In QB, the 941/W-2 reporting is controlled by the tax tracking line of the payroll item you create for the cafeteria plan. Pick the tax tracking item that is most representive (lots of options) of the type of plan/benefit and deselect the appropriate taxes.

For the Shareholder of S Corp

...... who is in the plan -- health insurance does not reduce his or her taxable income.
You can go to each employee and setup differently in QB.
If if were a C Corp, then it would be a deduction from taxable wage.
