    Late filing penalty for partnership

    Did the extra day for individual to file their tax return also apply to partnerships?

      I believe so , Because the due date was the 15th which was a Sunday it would be due the next business day which was the 16th.

      If you were late you may be able to get out of the failure to file penalty see TTB page 20-1.

          Yes, Partnership return had to be file by April 17, this year.
