I am an independant contractor working out of my home. I do framing and some remodelling. Can I take a mileage deduction from my home to the job sites? The sites range from 10 to 50 miles from my home. Jobs last about a month.

Unfortunately, you cannot deduct mileage from home to your jobs.
If your home is your principal place of business, that can qualify commuting mileage as deductible. But you're doing the work at other locations, so your home is not your principal place of business. Note that administrative work, billing, etc., do not qualify. You could have a deduct
