Consolidated Returns

I'm looking for a recommendation on a good resource on Controlled Groups/Consolidated Tax Returns. I have a client who might be subject and I want to read up. There doesn't seem to be an IRS Pub on the subject...at least not one I can find. Looked under corporations, too.

Can anyone help?

Also, if anyone has experience in this area, I would appreciate any advice you may have.

Don't do it! It is much easier to allocate the tax brackets between controlled groups.
