I think they (the QF ancestral line) get a "technical foul" for the ad I received today.

interpretation of ads
>>the ad I received<<
My general interpretation of ads is that the truth is exactly opposite of whatever they say. That's why they are saying it, because it's the point that they are most vulnerable on.
When the question is, "Are you finding the CloneBook is NOT all-inclusive?" the answer is undoubtedly, "No, it covers more than you do, but I thank you for the offer to let me tear up your competitor's book." -
What Ad??
Guys what are you talking about? Is there an ad floating around? Maybe I'll get it today. Is it hitting below the belt??Comment

Watch whom you call barbaric
May 2005 -- The CIA sent a team to Afghanistan days after 9/11 with orders to kill Osama Bin Laden and bring back his head, a former agent has revealed. Gary Schroen flew out soon after the attacks on New York and Washington, helping to set up the 2001 invasion, he told US National Public Radio. He recalled his orders from the CIA's counter-terrorism chief. "Capture Bin Laden, kill him and bring his head back in a box on dry ice," he quoted Cofer Black as saying. As for other leaders of Bin Laden's al-Qaeda network in Afghanistan, Mr Black reportedly said: "I want their heads up on pikes." Contacted by the radio network, Mr Black would not confirm that these were his exact words but he did not dispute Mr Schroen's account.

Digging in the trash
You all sent me digging in my trash to find that ad from QF. I just threw it away because I knew I didn't want to order anything especially now.
But I couldn't find it.
I think if you have a good product, you don't have to knock the competitors.

>>I think if you have a good product, you don't have to knock the competitors.<<
Again.. this was not knocking the competition since no competition was named, it was simply a way of giving you a 10% discount on telephone orders only. Would you rather not have a discount? They say they will give you the discount "trusting" that you will send the cover to them later. Does that sound like a dishonest business? no big deal.Comment

>>this was not knocking the competition since no competition was named<<
TheTaxBook makes a pointed comparison to "Competitor Q" as one of the three principle reasons to buy. They also directly name Quickfinder in a comment about production and marketing. Neither company is being unreasonable. That's just the way we do things here in the land of opportunity.Comment

Got an email
from QF with the same offer on it.
So now I see what you were all talking about.
