    ira left to trust

Okay I'll try to keep this short. Husband dies in 2007. 6 or 7 IRA's with wife as beneficiary. Problem is one IRA listed a revocable trust as beneficiary. The wife is the trustee of trust. Bank says they must transfer IRA to trust and ten she can do what she wants with the money. Is there anyway she can roll this to her IRA via the trust. Can a trust own an IRA?

    Thanks

roll it over into her name

Yes. Presumably the living trust became an irrevocable trust at death. There are advantages and disadvantages to naming the trust as beneficiary. It can, for example, help keep the surviving spouse's estate under the exclusion amount. However, the trust must withdraw the IRA funds as a non-spouse, not hold on or roll it over into her name.
