    Anyone else having Efile problems?

Any other Programs having problems with efiling? I have been trying since 8:00AM and I keep receiving the message: "We're sorry, the server is experiencing an internal error, try again now, or wait and try later."

This is Proseries response: "we have been advised that there is an issue all over the country with the internet routers and servers in some parts of the county. This is effecting every efile being sent by our servers, other company servers and IRS"

Seems to be a prevailing problem today. Check the ProSeries Forum website. I am not a computer tech person but my guess is it is related to server capacity.

Is having same problems so I see on our NAEA Webboard.

No problems here of course, since I file directly into IRS computers.

I'm getting through to Lacerte but it's taking a lot longer to get through. Yesterday I had one time where I timed out. I retried right away and did get through.

No problems with Drake. Everything going through smoothly as usual.
Only in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

                        Competing with the non-pro's

Intuit was advertising on TV that there was only two weeks left in the tax season, but "don't worry, you can try using TurboTax for free".

It is frustrating that the users of the professional versions of their software (costing between many hundreds of dollars) had to compete for the same server space as those who paid far, far less. I suppose this may be a bit chippy but, I hope Intuit's advertising campaign backfired on them. I would think the non-professional late-filers were far more worried about the lack of acceptance than others.
