Heck of a time

Twice now I've tried to post a new thread and twice I've shown as logged in until I try to submit the thread. Then the thread is gone.

*sigh*

I'm sending this one to test whether or not *it* gets through.

Looks like third times' a charm!

Since my message would be too short otherwise, I will submit my 'lessons learned'.

By having to draft my post three times ('Help with IRA'), I was able to skinny it down. Makes for a better post, I think.

When you first log in, check that box that says to stay logged in. If you don’t, you have to log in each time you visit the site, and it will also time out on you after so many minutes. By checking the box, it doesn’t matter how long it takes you to compose a post.

That's probably what happened.

It took me a while to boil down the situation, so maybe I was taking too long to draft my post.

Next time, I will remember to check that box. Although, I will say (again) having had to re-draft my post three times, I was able to boil down the issue better with each successive draft.

So all's well that end's well.
