    Clients

Just when I am at the end of my rope with clients; I am grumpy and don't want to see or talk to anyone. A client does something so nice that rejuvenates my enthusiasm for taxes and people in general.

I just got a delivery. A COOKIE basket. It contains 2 dozen of the best cookies I have had all tax season, with 2 cookies that say "Thank You" "Noel". And last night a client brought in a box of Frango Chocolates (my favorite), to say thank you.

I share so many problems. I just wanted to share a good thing for a change.

Hang in there everyone.........12 1/2 more days

I have a couple of clients that always bring me a case of beer each year, in addition to paying my normal fee. These are my kind of clients.

        And my favorite clients

are two. One who pays me with a bottle of Chivas Regal every year JUST for
efiling his returms. and another ex postman who brings me a huge paper sack of freshly
baked cookies, oh, about 80 I reckon, this time of year. So that is lunch for the next
        12 days or so.
        Yum Yum!

You guys are making me hungry.

I've got a bottle of Chimay Grande Reserve, a six pack and some new hair products for the wife, so I can't complain.

            And

Besides, warm "fuzzy" notes, I have received flowers, and "Gift Cards", and movie tickets.

I guess these clients more than make up for the ones that drive us crazy!

              Up until

I received that basket, the ones that drive me crazy were winning.

But my faith has been restored.

                Clients

I have received some of the nicest notes and kind phone calls from clients this year, telling me how much they appreciate me and my hard work and all I do for them.

I don't expect it and when they come, it's such a nice thing to brighten the day. Makes up for the sour ones we encounter from time to time.

I plan on addressing each one after the 17th.

                Dennis

You all are making me sick!

Obviously, you are under charging for your services and most likely smiling to your clients while you are doing it. This kind of behavior is subject to preparer penalties and should not be tolerated in the profession!

                    only 12 days!!

I got flowers from a client that I had done amended returns for and got him a "LARGE" refund. He and his wife were so happy. The flowers lasted for 2 weeks.
Another client gave me a gift card for Cracker Barrell.

Other clients give me the BEST gifts - referrals. I have had several again this year. That is really great.

But wait, only 12 days left........I've got too much to do. I hate doing extensions. I would rather get everything done that I have in the office. Let me see how I can do this.

Oh, wait. I'm going to St Augustine tomorrow afternoon and coming back on Monday. My husband decided we should go somewhere for our anniversary this year and he doesn't want to wait until May. I hope I can relax and not think about all the work on my desk.
