    IRA fees

Taxpayer has investment acct. of $350000. Broker charged $4000 to manage. The acct
is composed of $300000 in a IRA and $50000 in an after tax acct. Can I deduct the $4000
fee if it is coming out of the IRA? I am pretty sure I could if it was being withdrawn form
the after tax acct. Taxpayer has not told me where fee is being withdrawn.

Thanks, would be grateful for any respones, DixieEA

Can only be deducted if they are billed seperately and are NOT coming out of the IRA. See TTB page 4-26.
That's all I have to say ... for now.
