Does anyone have the Average Canadian exchange rate for 2006? Client receives Canadian income - want to convert to US dollars for income and withholding

I had a client with Canadian pension income. Go to x-rates.com and then to historical and look up 01-02-2006, 07-01-2006, and 12-31-06 and figure the average. That should serve as a realistic approximation for 2006.

That is what i did yesterday. Took the 3 rates just like Chief said, add together, then
divide by 3. Cannot remember how it came out but it was around 0.88 per 1.00 U S dollar.

Google the web sites for Bank of Canada or Bank of Montreal. Both have what you need.
