    Unforeseen Circumstances

My client has lived in his home for approximately 1.5 yrs. He and his wife did use the ยง121 exclusion on another home within the past 2 years. However, they have two reasons for wanting to sell and relocate:
    1. Wife's father is ill and she would like to be closer to help take care of him
    2. The would like to place their kids in a private school becasue the kids are having trouble in the school they are now in.

Any chance either of these could be "unforeseen circumstances"?

    Reduced Exclusion ok I think

The father's medical condition is the ticket if the daughter's presence near the Dad will help facilitate his treatment.

Thank you for that. I don't know why I didn't look it up myself. Must be getting tired.
