    new windows on Sch E

May be a dumb question, but here goes anyhow...

Client installed 2 Energy Star windows on their Sch E rental. Do I do anything special with the energy efficient windows (besides adding them as an improvement, that is)? If they had been installed in his home then he would have been entitled to a 10% credit (Form 5695 carrying to Form 1040 line 52).

is "close, but no cigar", if you ever heard that old expression.

      You are......

..... correct "Personal Residence" only. It is the second question of the form.
