    Morning folks

    If I have the EIN and name for a corporation. Do any you have suggestions how I might find out if it is an active number etc. and address.? Can it be located on the IRS site?

    Not on IRS.gov that I've found. Some states Division of Coporation web sites can be searched. In Florida you can find if active and the EIN.

      federal EIN"s never die; they just fade away.

      IOW, they continue to exist even if the corporation is now defunct.
