    Hey Snag,

    You around anywhere?

    Alive and Barely Kicking

Been run to death. Actually, I responded to your 8606 thread a day or so ago.

I resigned my job on November 15th, and haven't had any peace since. If this
is what retirement is like, buy a place in a location where no one knows you.
Actually I want to work another 10 years or so, but probably won't be at a regular
    job.

I enjoy the board and hope to get back at it when I ever get some time back.
Hope your season has gone well.

    Regards, Snag

      Man of leisure?

I thought that was what retirement was all about. Oh well, guess you better move to a big city where nobody knows you. Anyway, congratulations on living 'til retirement age.

Thanks for my 8606 reply. I solved the problem by sending him to White Oleander (Block) again.

Running -- yeah, me too. It's been a trying and tiring season. I'll be glad when it's over (except the big cash flow stops dead). I've started going up in price on some of my old-time "long form" cases -- getting tired of working cheap and, besides, I notice their savings account interest seems to go steadily up.

Best wishes on your retirement -- BB

        Whoops

I didn't really retire -- just quit my job in favor of part-time work. I'll probably have to hang in there another 10 years. I could tell you I'm not old enough to retire, but that's only partially true -- the real reason is I don't have any money...

          Retirement money

Yeah, me too. Guess I'll just stay at my oar and keep rowing 'til they find me slumped over the desk someday.

We may have worked in the wrong place all these years. I just finished one for a retired couple from Alaska a few minutes ago. Their pensions are $54K (his-$32K), SS $26K, interest $3,800. Must be compensation for staying frozen up for 40 years.

P.S. His bad luck to be so well off and me so broke, tired, and depressed. He just got a $100 raise.
