    Finished the return last night but this morning thought about the credit for the classes.

    Getting a little punchy right about now. Too much to do before March 15th.

    Not an accredited school for student loans = no Life Time Learing Credit.

    Not in business or notary, not licensed as a notary = no deduction of course as job related expense since needed to get license.

    They get nothing period.

      for all your answers.

      This has proved to be a very interesting thread.

      So since I am a notary, if I took a course to be a signing agent, I could write off the expense on my Schedule C. But no education credits for any of it.
