    Residential Energy Credits

    Client has new windows and new heat pump in 2006. Looks like the heat pump amount will be reported on form 5695 line 2a and the windows on line 2b. Am I on the right track here? Thanks.

      I would say yes you are. As long as these items are certified to meet the minimum criteria for energy efficiency set by the IECC. This is usually certified by the manafacturer.
      That's all I have to say ... for now.
