    Mortgage Interest on Time Share Property

    Is mortgage interest on a time share property a deductible expense?

      Yes if it meets the requirements of a qualified home. If rented out during the year, it must meet certain tests for rental property.

          Deeded

          I believe if the time share is "deeded" property it qualifies for mortgage interest deduction as a 2nd home.
