    Windows for home office

My client put energy efficient windows in her home office. These do not qualify for the credit on Form 5695. On what form do I claim a business energy credit?

A home office is not residental property, it is considered non-residential property.

      Office in home expense

I added window tinting to my windows in my home office. I deducted it on the business use of home form as a direct expense to the space.

I would think the same would apply in this case.

Do they not qualify because they are not eligible under the IECE, Ieec, whatever,
guidelines? Do they not meet the minimum 35 level?

At any rate, they would seem now to be improvements in the home, thus increasing
basis for the minuscule depreciation at least. And I do mean "least".
