    Commuting Mileage

    Is a day care facility in a home considered an Office In Home In considering mileage taken to transport children on field trips and other outings? I say this would be business mileage not subject to commuting mileage. I would be interested in others' take on this situation.

      Taking the children on field trips and other outings is not commuting. It is only business mileage.

      You are mixing apples and turnips. Two different subjects.
