    Arizona retirement income

    I have a retired client in Chicago that is considering moving to Arizona. Does Arizona tax 1099-R retirement income? In Illinois they do not.

      I believe that is a federal law that does not states tax pension income. I dont have the citations for it.

          Yes, Arizona taxes retirement income from other states.

              Will your be a Snow Bird? A resident that comes with the snow. If so, file Illinois.
