Is there an income limitation to claim the Empire State Child Credit. I use ProSeries & it gave the credit. T/P received $850 in Federal CTC because of income. Calculated $281 for state (33% of federal amount). State return keeps getting rejected "Cannot file IT-213 because thhe "No" boxes were both checked". This was not the case (both boxes checked no.) Is anyone else having this problem?

I think you need to have the boxes checked "yes".
Were you full year residents? Yes
Did you claim the federal CTC? Yes
Is your income under ... ? Yes -
it's a problem with proseries
yes harriet i too am having the same problem resubmitted the return 3 times. i called proseries and it's a problem on their side. it's supposed to be fixed friday feb 23. let's hopeComment
