I just got a e-mail from one of our legislators that our govenor signed the bill yesterday that will retroactively (back to 2006) bring MN back in synch with those federal tax laws that were extended late last year (basically the Educator Exp, Tuition Ded, and Sales Tax Ded). I haven't read the bill to see if any other provisions were in it. That federal delay in e-filing those types of returns actually helped. I now don't have to gamble on not adding those items on the M-1M assuming that they were going to eventually pass the law.
The bill are on the MN legislative web sites and I believe the House bill was HF-0008 and the Senate version HS-0017
