They also have a pay per return program. I think you get 50 returns for the initial price and then can add more as you need to. The last I knew, the price for this was $500

ProSeries

ProSeries gave me free unlimited e-file this year. It was a special promotion to emphasize their new lower price (apparently competing with ATX after it was acquired by CCH).

If you are looking to purchase 2006 software this late in the year, any company might give you an opportunity to negotiate a very good deal. In fact, after April 15 they will all give you a free "trial" of what they consider the prior year program. So the best thing to do is put all your clients on extension, and finish up during the long, lazy days of summer.
