    Another telephone excise tax ?

    In seminars this past fall I was led to believe that a 1040 filer with a Schedule C could claim actual or IRS shortcut method for the Scheudle C and get the standard amount for their personal phone. Now that I look at the instructions, it appears if you want to claim actual or shortcut for business you get either zero for personal of you have to do actual for personal. Do I have this right now?
