Hate to say it, hate to do it but I truly don't like the new format that doesn't let me see all the posts without back/forward option. Less time consuming the old way. Love the site, hate the new format....going to miss it taxea

Hi Brad
I really don't want to quit using this site..so help me. I did see the first post and tried it but I guess I have to do that everytime I go into a post?????
Also postings are not in decending order instead of accending order...what I don't like is every time I log in, anew, I have to change the settings I selected even though I saved them before.
If you can help me make this site work like it used to I would be very grateful.taxeaBelieve nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

Bucky...I do taxes for fun money...I have CA retirement which pays my total support. Hawaii is a very expensive place to live and my health insurance is $500 a month and rising every year.
I love being home but there definately is a price to be paid for living in Hawaii. taxeaBelieve nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

Gosh, I didn't know people that live in such contrasting surroundings could have so much in common. I, too, have a retirement program (Social Security) which pays my total support. Also good health insurance is $500 per month here, except I had the "pore-boy" version ($175 mo./$2,500 deductible). But, everything's rosy since I've hit 65 and got Med B and Blue Cross supplement ($1,062 annually and $92 monthly, respectively).
See ya on the beach or streamside, whichever one of us comes to visit first.

Yes Black Bart...I'm back...got it fixed and so glad. I'm retired Law Enforcement born and raised in HI, then to CA for about 30years, retired and moved back home. My medical is group through the PD I worked for but I have to pay the premiums and Kaiser here is very expensive. Can't wait to see if Bush's new $7500 deduction goes through.
Me, on the beach, I wish! We who live and work here don't have much time for that. But I do make it a must to go see the huge waves on the North Shore! taxeaBelieve nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

By the way (If it won't kill off your New Year's resolution) what's that $7,500 Bush deduction you're talking about? I missed the State of the Union speech, which I guess is where you heard about it.

To Black Bart-health care
Bob W posted this address:
This site details it well...I just don't know why they don't eliminate the 7.5% AGI you have to subtract before any medical expenses apply. Seems to me that would be the easiest thing to do. Well, I applaud that he is trying to do something to relieve the burden, although I was hoping for an adjustment to income deduction for medical expenses. This is actually better because even if you don't use $7500. of $10000. you get the full benefit of the deduction. The dems are probably going to make us justify it by attaching our policy to the tax return!! Can't wait to see how it plays out. taxeaBelieve nothing you have not personally researched and verified.

Holland...do you work for Holland Tax? My mom lives in Kailua 200 yards from the beach. Can't agree...the North Shore has the best beaches. Born and raised in Wahiawa, God's Country...Kailua is way to hot for me.
I just sent close to 300 client worksheets so I'm not in the thick of it yet. taxeaBelieve nothing you have not personally researched and verified.
