    1099 issued?

Client works for England company as a sub contractor. The company does not have any business locations in USA. Do they have to issue a 1099misc to taxpayer. I have another client (furniture sales) that sell for a Canadian Co and never receives 1099.

It doesn't matter if your clients receive 1099's for their work. They have to report all of their income, reported on a 1099 or not.

I have a hard time getting clients to understand that.

      1099 not required

A foreign company with no US office would not be required to file a 1099.
