Anyone else having problems with the direct deposit of WI state refunds? I've had 2 now that were set up for direct deposit, but the bank has not recieved them. I think they are cutting checks and mailing them, but I haven't been able to get an answer from anyone at the state yet.

Hmmmmmmmm
After reading taxdude71's message I called a couple of people that, according Wisconsin's "Where's my refund" site should have received direct deposit on the 17th. One called back and said she did not receive the direct deposit so I told her to watch for a check in the mail and I'll try to do some more investigating on Monday.

Refund date
If they are like the banks in may area, they often sit on the refund for a couple of days before posting to the customers account. I assume that they use the float to make a few cents.
LTOnly in government or politics is a "cut in spending" really an increase. It's just not as much of an increase as they wanted it to be, therefore a "cut".

It was the state of WI's fault. I finally recieved a response from them. They updated their computers back in November and are still working out the bugs. Basically, if you check the refund status on-line or call the auto phone#, the date they give for the deposit of the refund may be wrong (had about 10 of these so far). They are working on correcting the error - which they have known about for about a month (thanks for the info).
