    Surety Bond

    Is a surety bond necessary for EAs? I cannot find anything regarding this in Circ. 230.

      Not required, usually needed if you are handling (in possession) of valuable assets belonging to others that could be lost, destroyed, stolen. E&O is very important coverage to have, but again not required by any law or Circ. 230.
