I am working today, except for the time spent checking email and groups. 7 2006 returns done before the end of 2006, about a dozen 2006 started and waiting for more info, a couple dozen appointments. I hope to complete 1K returns before April 15, and a lot more extensions later.

        I'm here!

Have started a couple of returns, but that's all, so far. Just doing some bookkeeping for a client and myself today.

Bob, when I come on the board to take peek, I am working! When I take a peek on the Bravo site, I'm not.

            Working

I am trying out a new tax program and trying to get the bugs worked out!!! I will say the program I chose has excellent technical support so far!!! It is Tax Slayer Pro. Does anyone else on this site use it?

I need to be working on some payroll but I am not. I am working on updating a couple of websites for some customers before things become crazy. I might work tomorrow on the payroll and bookkeeping.

How can you possibly do that many returns?

All of my payroll client W-2's are done, 1099's will be done tomorrow, then I can start doing returns.

                      Yippee!

                            1) I have very good help.
                            2) I work very long hours.
                            3) My appointments are set on 5 minute increments. (If you take 10 minutes, you only get 10 minutes).
                            4) I keep no paper records.
                            5) My clients get a CD, no paper.
                            6) I use very fast software (Drake).

                              When are we not working?

Didn't work Saturday. Actually took the day off. Went to a wedding. Sunday I had a stomach virus (I guess), only lasted a day.
So Monday I worked to make up for lost time. Just got 2 new bookkeeping accounts. So am setting them up as S corps.
Have to do W-2's for my bookkeeping accounts, quarterly reports, sales tax. So January will be very busy.
Will send out letters to my clients by Friday. Have my grandson next 2 days - guess he will watch a lot of "Little Einsteins" and "Backyardigans" so I can work.
I am trying very hard to be more organized this year. Also to finish one task before starting another. I HAVE to stop multi-tasking. It drives me crazy. I think it is working better because I don't feel as stressed out.
