    Exempt

I had a client come in with their last pay stub and siad they claimed exempt part of the year of 2006. My question is, I'm I suppose to do anything with that info on the tax return?

Why concerned with it now? You have to have the W2 with which to prepare the
return anyway. This "last pay stub" thing is for those fly by night outfits
and the big two who try to sucker people in for a loan.

But to your real question. No, it don't matter atall if taxpayer claimed exempt
at any time of the years. That is not a subject for the tax return. The final
    two figures are what matter.
