    Automatic Re-orders

Some think it is some kind of customer convenience to automatically ship out an updated product and then send a bill. The customer can then honor the bill with a payment, or refuse the product and send it back.

Personally, I think it is poor business practice. Maybe if the customer specifically requests to have updated products automatically shipped and billed, that would be OK. But to do it to all customers without their consent is an insult. Do gas stations come by in the middle of the night and fill up your car, and then send you a bill without your consent? Do grocery stores drop off bags of food on your doorstep and then send you a bill without your consent?

I do not agree with the practice and I will not work for a company that would ever think of doing such a thing. Future updated editions of The TaxBook will not be shipped to you without you first placing an order with us.

    Automatic Re-order

I hate it when companies automatically ship their latest products and send you a bill for the re-order, when you never re-ordered. You then have to go through the hassle of calling to cancel, or send their book back, or do something else. Are you guys going to do that to me if I order your book?
