Cheers!
For My PC Friends:
"Please accept with no obligation, explicit or implied, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher."

Merry Christmas Sue Baby & Veritas
Together again. My tears have stopped falling.
The Long, lonely nights are now at an end.
The key to my heart, You hold in your hand;
But nothing else matters Now we're together again.
Together again. The gray skies are gone.
You're back in my arms right where you belong.
The love that I knew Is living again.
And nothing else matters now. We're together again. Doing tax returns.......

giving to poor children
For the last two years my wife and I have been purchasing presents for poor children who
we do not know. Churches and restaurants provide a list of such children and gifts they
desire. My children are 38 and 45 so we no longer give gifts to them. It was a pain to
try to decide what to give them. However the poor children make a list of what they want
and it is easy to purchase these items. I get a good feeling in giving to these children, far
better than giving to relatives. I recommend this highly. It will make you feel good and
help needy children. No, it is not deductible . Merry Christmas to all!

From the time they were old enough to understand what they were doing, I've taken them to the toy store and given them a budget to buy whatever they want. They fill up the cart, we pay for the stuff, then we take it to the local Toys for Tots drop off and give it all away.
It was a bit of a shock to each of them the first time. It rocked their little worlds, quite frankly. It quickly became easy for them once they knew what to expect.
